First off, I’ll be putting up a new layout soon. And I may be moving my blog back to the home directory of my site instead of keeping it in this subdomain. Maybe. Did it. Done!
Anyway, I received my Wacom Bamboo Tablet 2 days after placing my order, and I chose Standard Shipping. How cool is that?! Of course, I took pictures. LOL! I’ll upload them tomorrow in my Flickr album. Currently, I’m working on a (digital) “painting” that happens to be a self-portrait. It’s taking me awhile to get used to it because I forgotten all about pressure and strokes — things that aren’t used much when working with an ordinary mouse.
I love my Bamboo, though! *cheeses*
More updates: If you follow me via Twitter, then you already know about a new position that I’ll start training for next week! Downsides are: I have to be at work an hour and half earlier than normal, and there’s no room for mistakes. Upsides are: Little to no face-to-face customer service, I don’t have to be in the purple uniform at all times, after I finish in the office I can “float” on the sales floor, AND a raise. NIIIIIIIIIIIIIICE!
This a big plus for me because:
- My car insurance went up because of that stupid speeding ticket! Now: $107/month
- My health insurance is also going up. Now: $178/month
- Student loans repayment. $75/month
I’m able to pay all of this on time AND save money for my “Moving Out” funds AND my Hawaii trip in September. *more cheeses*
I guess it IS a good thing I’ve been cutting back on my impulse shopping! I’ve been good at staying away from VS, Sephora, Express, and the likes. It’s hard when my work just happens to be down the street from the mall!

Congrats on the promotion!! Yeah bills are kicking my butt too… I’d just love to be able to NOT pay any bills one month and buy the things I want to buy!!! :)

i love craig david.. my fave song is 7 days! hehe.. you got a speeding ticket too? do you guys have like a traffic school where you go for 4 hours and then your points are gone and your insurance doesn’t go up?

Congratulations on the promotion. Twitter is so sweet - I use it too. Being a college student, still under 21, and having no car, I still don’t have to pay for any bills yet… I don’t want to though but oh well, it’s life. Good luck on paying them off. A trip to Hawaii would be one sweet reward!

lol it seems like people are getting more into using the bamboo. he design of the bamboo is lovely but how is the sensitivity of it? It’s pretty cheap too.
