It has been two years since I started this website. Now, that’s a first! If you knew for some time, then you know I used to have this habit of closing my website after a year because I grew tired of the domain name. With Soularte.com, I grew really fond of it. Not to mention, I have solidified a connection between me and the name amongst certain communities in Seattle. So, parting with it may cause some confusion to some people I have established a network with.
Anyway… Happy birthday, “baby”!
Sidenote: I was planning on creating a free “Go Pink!” theme for Wordpress blogs, but in the middle of doing so I got discouraged. Instead, I will be creating free wallpapers. I will have them up sometime this week. Hopefully… *crosses fingers*

Happy Birthday Soularte!!! I can understand about changing domains after a year. I’m also the same way but when I got Herstori I never got sick of it yet.
My site will be two on December 5th. Since my brother got it for me as a early birthday gift and don’t expire until 2011 .. I will be keeping that domain for a long time. The domain really have a meaning to it.
I can’t wait to see your wallpapers.

Before I bought “Soularte.com”, I was going to use my name. But at the time I wasn’t sure if I wanted a personal site versus a portfolio. I don’t regret choosing my domain, though. I’m sure you’ll reach the 2-year mark, too!

Thank you! I’m planning on turning this site into an art portfolio, too. It’s just taking me awhile to organize it. I’m a bit attached to the domain name, so I’m definitely keeping it!! =)

I didn’t know my brother got the domain for me that long until he told me. But I am happy that he did got it that long. Now I don’t have to worry about renewing it every year.
It should be working now. I was working on my site all yesterday and mess up my whole wordpress.
