I want some chins, too!!
Just reading J.’s blogs about her chinchillas makes me wanna save more money and get some of my own! They’re so adorable. Don’t get me wrong, I still love my froggies! But I want more pets. *sigh*
Anyway, I’ve noticed a lot of friends (both on and off-line) been having problems, so here is a quote for all of you:
“Carrying your negative [emotional baggage] requires energy that could be put to much better use - say goodbye to it, let it go, and get on with your life.”
- Lucy MacDonald
So all those ex-boyfriends, ex-(best)friends, or just unnecessary people in your life: just drop them. You’ll be grateful that you did later down the road.

Aww yeah they are awesome! They have distinct personalities - the younger one is much friendlier than the older one and likes to be touched much more. We’ll see how they grow up though - neither of them is a year old yet. So you know, it cost us $200 for their cage, $100 for all of their food, bedding, dishes, carrier, etc. (but that stuff lasts a long time - we aren’t even close to being out of anything yet), and the chins were $85 each. They are social so it would break my heart to just have one. If you decide to get some, that message board link in my post has lots of good info, including on how to get cheap cages. :)
Before them, we were just gonna get hermit crabs. Big step up! We might get a beta fish sometime ’cause we dig this martini glass style bowl they have at Petsmart lol.

Amen to that! I know from personal experience that sometimes you just have to let people go from your life. I was a victim of “not letting go” for some time and the only thing that it did was hold me back.
