We’ve been having HEAVY rain and winds for the last 2 days, and guess what: Many roads are closed due to still waters (flooded areas). 2 of our “floating” bridges were also closed, so there were major backups on the highways.
What sucks for me is that in order to go somewhere (or anywhere) from my house, I have to go through roads that were FLOODED. Taking detour routes aren’t so great because they were backed up, too.
I was a half an hour late for my final this morning. Luckily, the teacher was late, too, so we were given an extra 30-minutes grace period. As for work, I was late an hour. Not that I cared, anyway. LOL. When I got there, half of the parking lot was flooded, too. That made the rest of day SLOW. Way too slow. I started getting a headache because I was *that* bored.
I’m so glad I’m off tomorrow. I can study some more for my other final on Friday morning, and possibly recuperate from the lost of sleep over the weekend.

Wow, that’s crazy. I’ve never experienced bad flooding because I live at a fairly high altitude, but a couple times yes. It gets scary to me! I hope you do well on your Finals!

Augh. I hate rain! It floods here in San Antonio during the rainy season. It got really bad earlier this year in the Summer. I can’t wait for my Hubby to get new orders to another military base. I’m ready for a change!
Stay dry and be safe!

The weather there sounds horrific! And here I am complaining about snow. You are such a tough cookie for dealing with it!
