I’m sure a lot of you will agree that 2007 flew by really quick. I can’t say it has been a bad year because despite the many downfalls I found myself in, a lot of personal growth came out of them.

In 2007,

  • Had major health problems and scares — Seeing life differently now.
  • I made a major career move - getting back into the medical field. Consequently, I stopped accepting freelance work.
  • I got a more stable job. Granted, it’s not the best or high-paying one, but at least I’m not falling back on my bills!
  • I let go a lot of responsibilities — which I later realized they were only holding me back instead of moving me forward.
  • Lost a few family members… And friends, as well.
  • I learned that there are friends worth keeping, and some worth letting go.

For 2008,

  • I’m officially halfway into the Pharmacy program — which means I’ll be graduating in September 2008! Edit: There were some typos!
  • After graduating, I will have enough money to go on a REAL vacation!
  • I will have all of my student loans PAID OFF — completely debt-free!
  • I will have more time to spend with family and friends! (Major plus!!)

I don’t think I will be making any resolutions… I’ll just end up disappointing myself if I don’t follow through. I don’t want to hope that 2008 will be better than the preceding years. I’d rather hope to be more prepared for whatever the upcoming new year will throw at me…

PS. I will try to put up a new layout on New Year’s Eve. If not, then I will do it on the first day of the year… Unless I’m working. *frowns*

I’m making resolutions. But, they’ll be promises to myself. Rather than announcements to the world.

Looks like you have a lot of good coming your way in ‘08. I know being debt free will feel good :)

I’m making only a few resolutions this year, ones i know i can keep. I think 2007 had a few ups a downs for everyone ( you seem to have had quite a few) but in the end, we learn from everything that happens to us.
