The original layout was starting to get TOO pink for me. So, I used it as an accenting color. What I’m more proud of right now is my music player. I spent 2 or more hours on it. I’m slowly learning about ActionScript. It’s similar to JavaScript… Kind of.
Update (10/14/07) Actionscript is a scripting language used in creating dynamic Flash (.swf) files. I say it’s similar because of its structure. Sorry, if my statement above confused some people.
My favorite track in my playlist is “How Much” by Meg & Dia. I absolutely *adore* them! A friend of mine was looking all over the internet for their debut (”masterpiece”) album, Our Home Is Gone. Neener-neener! You should’ve bought it when I did, loser! It’s worth the $12, and I still listen to it! I’m so glad I went to that concert for what’s-their-faces that they opened for. Apparently, I wasn’t impressed by them if I don’t remember their band name. LOL! But these girls got me. If you want to hear samples of their other songs, visit their Myspace page.
Anyway, I’m going to work on some projects because deadlines are just around the corner. Yikes!

The new lay is cool.. (wipes a tear for the old one). Music player is cool, just sucks you have to stay on one page or it restarts/goes to another song.
Hmm, never heard of those girls. I’ll check out their MySpace.
Hope you get those projects done with time to spare!

I never heard of ActionScript but your music player looks nice so I need to read up on that. The song is nice, although I only listened to a minute of it, but I agree with Olivia, I wish that somehow there was a way that the music would continuously play and not stop when you visit another page. This layout is simply beautiful, the butterflies are sooo cute. It really respresents this time of the year to me =]. Good luck with your projects!

I agree, I wish the music can seamlessly play while browsing the site. I’m still learning ActionScript, so hopefully as I will learn it soon. I know it’ll have something to do with setting up cookies.
Another option for me is using framesets, but it’ll make my site ugly. Haha.
I’ll figure something out.

i went to school with them :) i love them to death and they’re total sweethearts. i got their record before it even came out….i think like a year ago now.
