I’ve been using my Apple iPod Nano (5th generation) for two years now. It’s gone through a lot — Dropped and scratched. Let’s not forget it has a HUGE crack across the screen from dropping it in the parking lot. So, I’m looking into upgrading.

The problem is I’m not impressed with the 6th generation’s new exterior, as well as the menu’s new interface. I would buy the 5.5th generation on eBay, but it costs just as much as the current one (and they’re refurbished!) What the hell… The only thing that appeals to me are the storage capacity and the fact that I have been satisfied with my Nano.

So, here I am looking at reviews on the Zune mp3 player when I should be asleep since I work at 4:30AM tomorrow due to “Black Friday”! I like the fact that it has a larger screen, FM radio, and the menu interface is easier to navigate. Plus, I like the feature of customizing the background screen.

All in all, I want a new mp3 player to suit my needs during my lunch break, closing hours at work and at the gym.

Hmm… I don’t know which to choose from! I want to hear inputs by both Zune and iPod users (specifically with the 6th generation)!!

I’m not familiar with the Zune but i heard it has some type of wireless thing.

I didn’t even know iPods were categorized into generations. I have a 30gb video iPod, is that a 6th gen?

I have the iPOD nano. Don’t ask me the generation. I guess it’s the first of the nano’s. LOL. I love it. It holds my songs and that’s all I need.

Zune sounds like a cool gadget. Sounds like something I would get. Don’t you get to send songs to your friends that have Zune? Is that how it goes? Well, whatever you choose, I’m sure you will enjoy it! Music is my life!

    @ saha

The 30gb video iPod is in the 5/5.5 generations. And yes, Zune has WiFi so you can transfer/share music with other Zuners.

I’m still up in the air in which to choose from. I hear good and bad things for BOTH iPod Classic (6th generation) and Zune.

I am an iPod lover. I own a 30 gig and I have had it for about two years now. I can’t live without it. The Zune is a nice player. I also like the fact that you can change the screens wallpaper. But, what keeps me with the iPod is the versatility. There are so many products made for the iPod that come in handy. I hope you find something that suits your needs.

I just got home from Best Buy, and I’m happy to announce that I stuck to the iPod. I guess it’s because I’m too comfortable with it. Haha. Plus, I got $20 off from the purchase because I received one of our “prizes” at work — a gift card at Best Buy! And a friend of mine just got off work and gave me a discount, too! So, I actually saved $46!! *dances*
